Grants and Discounts

Grants and discounts are available to help fund energy efficiency measures for all residents, particularly those on certain benefits. To find out which offers you are eligible for, complete our on line grant finder or telephone to speak to one of our advisors on 0800 358 6669.

KASH Insulation and Heating

Everyone is eligible for a discount from the KASH scheme, which has low prices on loft insulation, cavity wall and solid wall insulation and heating.

You can get up to 50% off the costs of insulation – or as much as 70% if your home is electrically heated – and huge discounts are available on a range of efficient boilers.

For example, a typical home could have cavity wall insulation installed for less than £300 and loft insulation for about £250. This includes a saving of £150 on usual prices and these combined measures could save £140 a year on your fuel bills!

Condensing boiler prices start at about £500 + VAT and, if you need help finding an installer, we can put you in contact with a local CORGI or OFTEC registered company.

KASH is the Kent local authority scheme and trained energy efficiency installers carry out the work so you have the peace of mind of top quality workmanship.

Sunrise

Tap in to the power of the Sun through our solar hot water discount scheme. Sun Rise brings you a professionally installed system for as little as £3300, which can be further reduced by £400 with the Low Carbon Buildings Programme Government grant for domestic solar water heating installations.

A solar hot water system consists of one or more solar panels that are easily fitted to your roof and then connected to your existing plumbing system. The panels absorb heat from sunlight, which is transferred to the water that comes out of the hot taps.

Sun Rise will offer you impartial advice on the best technology for your home, a hassle free service (installation should only take a day), and a low maintenance system that comes with a 10 year warranty.
